KOTAMON Card Repair — Fragments & the Glue Table
The repair flow
- Collect all 5 fragments of the damaged card from trash piles.
- Go to the glue table in the garage.
- Place the pieces and rotate/arrange them manually — work from visible edges and the artwork.
- The card completes only when all five pieces form the full picture.
- Check the result in your binder before trading or selling anything.
Tips
- The tabletop pickup screen shows Rarity and Quality separately — repairing fixes the card's completeness, and quality still drives sell price.
- Repair before you judge duplicates — a Steam guide author admits selling off "duplicates" they later needed.
- Searching for the pieces is also how you stumble onto cereal boxes and figurines — one loop feeds everything.
- Save safety: card assembly is not a save-recovery tool. If your save is misbehaving, read fixes first.
Repair FAQ
How many pieces does a damaged card need?
Five fragments per card. Collect all five, then assemble them manually at the glue table in the garage until they form the full picture.
Should I repair before selling duplicates?
Yes — condition (the quality stars) affects sell value, and a repaired card counts for your collection. Repair first, then decide what is a duplicate.
Is there a repair fee?
No source documents a fixed repair fee — assembly is a manual puzzle, not a paid service. If a patch changes this, the updates page will note it.
